About Me

What's my background?

​

I am an Orange County, CA based human resources professional. I have 8 years of HR experience working with U.S. companies from California to Maryland as well as all of Canada. I have worked in both the startup and large corporate environment. I gained my B.S. in Psychology from Towson University and my M.B.A. in Human Resource Management from Upper Iowa University.

What do I love the most about HR? 

​

I enjoy helping people feel safe, supported, and valued at work. People spend so much of their lives working, and they want to be at a company who considers them their most valuable asset. We are humans before employees, and we each come with our unique strengths, challenges, and personalities that should be celebrated. Every day I strive to be the type of HR professional that I would want to come to if I had an issue at work!

How do I describe myself? 

​

I am outgoing, creative, thoughtful, and always up for a challenge! I have excellent communication and leadership skills and get my energy from helping others. I thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments where I am able to multi-task and perform under pressure. I am flexible and adapt easily to new circumstances. I learn quickly, am incredibly organized, and attention to detail is my strong suit. I enjoy working individually as a proactive self-starter, as well as part of a team to achieve shared goals!

What's next on my list for professional development?

I would like to obtain the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist and Association of Workplace Investigators Credentials!

What are my hobbies? 

​

When I'm not in the office, (or working virtually!) I love playing the viola, horseback riding, cooking, reading, and fitness!
